Pictures from USB Memory Stick

Having a read today in the lesser visited pages of the Owners Manual and decided I'd have a go at showing pictures on the screen of my 2017 300h Premier.  I can play music from the stick but it won't read photos despite conforming to all the requirements in the book (see below).  Not important but if anyone has any ideas I'd like to know that it works if I want it too.

I'll have a check at my 'stick' and see what the set-up is. I think it does only show 1 pic at start-up. Later today.

Not sure if this is what you are looking for! Picture shows my USB 64mb USB stick named MUSIC 1 - side panel gives details.

I copied my jpeg 'thumb_02146Disney_1024.jpg'  and renamed the copied file   StartupImage.jpg    as RGB with dimensions  3000 x 2250

There is a folder   StartupImage   and a file    image.jpg  which I believe are not needed, just made them when I was trying to make it work.

Any other info re this just ask. Let me know if it works please.

Ah, yours is a USB3 stick, that might be the difference, I'll try it and see if that makes a difference.  Not sure it will as it plays the music tracks perfectly well..
