Saying goodbye..... to ISF OEM alloys. Some questions regarding aftermarket alloys and tyres

Recommended Posts

Hello guys,

Unfortunately conditions on the roads in Northern Ireland forced me to replace my beloved OEM alloys to the aftermarket ones.

Sorry to be nuisance, but I am still quite a newbie when it comes to aftermarket wheels sizes and for the life of me - I couldn't find anyone fitting similar set of wheels or measurements.. Alloy shop said it should be OK for my car..

Would these below fit my bone stock ISF?

ET35 sounds like very strange offset for rears.. Will I need to have spacers?

JR Wheels JR11 19x8,5 ET40 5x112/114,3 Bronze

Also, would I be ok fitting F 225/40R19  R 255/35R19 or I could go wider?

Thank you

Sorry just noticed you are going wider as well, so it will stick out another 1/4 inch.

This site will help you visualise it:

Oof, I've totally misunderstood offset then. Thanks for sharing this with me.

I want to say thanks to everyone here.

I finally got JR11 from Poland and fitted them with Goodyear F1 Asymmetric 5.

No rubbing, quite a stiff ride to be honest.

Looks nice. How are you finding the new tyres?

It's bit too early to come up with a conclusion. I only did 180 miles on them. At the moment tyres feel very stiff and not too grippy. Over few weeks I should break them in.

Just an update for those interested in these wheels - rear bastards do rub every time I go over the bumps. I only noticed that during my trip to Ireland.
