Sorry! Trick question, you are both right and wrong, it is a Yugo 45/55 in all aspects except the name. Look carefully at the badge on the front wing! This is something I only found out a couple of days back.

Talbot Tagora.  Some obscure French sofa on wheels. Car was a disaster and production halted after 2 yrs. Nobody wanted one

Its sad the French couldn't make luxury cars reliable...I remember how comfy those old Citroens were! If only they could make it with Lexus reliability and German marketing, they would be golden!

Yep, sorry to bring the Innocenti brand back again on this thread, but it was too good a submission for here. It was called the Innocenti Koral 45/55!

Not sure what a type 3 is, I knew it as a VW Variant, one of the worst cars I've ever owned!

There was a type3 Saloon (Notchback) and Fastback (I had 2) and an Estate (Variant)

Rear engined, rear wheel drive Flat 4 1600cc engine mounted in rear and 2 Boots Phil.

There was also a Type 1 and a Type 3 Karmann Ghia.

Only on ice Bernard.

I have never been one to even think about approaching limits.

I did once think about getting one of the (then) new Type 4 cars, but they didn`t seem to sell well as it turned out.

I never returned to VW.
