morning all.  Just joined, hoping someone might be able to help ??

I have a 2009 RX400h - about 75k miles and, having bought it last summer, I'm absolutely loving it.

However, just in the last couple of weeks I have noticed the footwell on the passenger side has become sodden..I've checked windows etc, and certain that seals all OK on doors and no sign of 'leaking' from anywhere above, yet it continues to be very wet.

Any ideas what this is and what I can do about it ?

Many thanks

Check the drains etc around the bottom of the windscreen. Makes sure everything is clear of debris and that water can flow off the car and screen freely. Also probably worth checking your cabin filter. Very easy access behind the glovebox.

And hello!

Open the passenger door. Get a plastic spatula and lever rubber seal open by 5 mm. watering can. Pour water liberally in gap. See water flow freely out of door bottom drain holes. Good. Look out for seepage and leaks along door card. These will go straight into carpet sill. Also water can run forward from trunk area leaks.

I had the same issue. It will likely be a blocked sunroof drain. Underneath the car right by the wheel arch and in line with the front of the door is a tiny hole to allow water from roof and windscreen to drain. It could be blocked. I used a very think cable tie to unblock
