Been a bit to windy here to do anything, not even clean the car, tried yesterday but only got as far as washing the car. getting close to the W/E as well - running out of time at this rate, don't even have a garage to do any work in either. :crybaby:

Was very windy yesterday on the M4. The lex felt like an MX5

Today the joy of hailstones :)

A bloke in Leicester died from falling debris yeaterday whilst walking to the footie game with his family.

Also, a falling tree smashed into a car killing a couple.

The cones at road works in Nottingham City Centre were all over the place yesterday. The coppers were scrambling everywhere to try and stop them from hitting cars

There was chaos on M1 yesterday evening when I came back from scarborough.

Totally shut at Jct 46 for some reason, and further down around jct40 a lorry in middle lane had blown over onto it's side covering the outside lane. Miles and miles of tailbacks :o Luckily all northbound. :P

A64 had loads of workers out picking up roadworks signs that had blown over. Wouldn't fancy one of those slamming into my car

Popped up to Manchester airport earlier to pick a couple of mates up and a lorry had overturned on the road between Chesterfield and Stockport (A6) - was on a straight too and it looks like the wind just flipped it...

Just arrived back in Manchester from Lake District, M6 nearly underwater near B'Pool turn off, loads of plod out with speed cameras, bit of a farce as stuck in slow traffic @ 10mph for 6 miles. Wind in Sale not to bad now but just spied a coooool beer in fridge so we could be in for a rough night,( "nurse, the screens")
