I'm thinking about getting the Stainless Steel bumper protector, as in the picture.
Anybody already done this? And is it worth the £149.00?

I have one fitted. I think it is expensive and don't think it is deep enough to do the job that it is intended for.

^^ Agree. It looks nice, and came as part of the protection pack on mine, but in terms of actual protection I think it’s limited.

Hi Al D- Much.
I have a 2019 NX300H & ordered one of these from Ali Express (aliexpress.com). Shipping from China so be prepared for a few weeks delivery but only cost  approximately £65. Looks & fits well with NX logo laser engraved in the middle . Very pleased. Regards Steve.

Hmm, that’s interesting, any chance of a link?

Had a quick look at Aliexpress, there are a variety of choices and price brackets

I had the rear bumper protection film fitted to my 2018NX as part of the deal when purchased. It works well.

A paint protection film specialist may be cheaper and cover a larger area of your bumper.

I had one one in my 2019 IS and it does protect the paintwork but of course the protector itself gets scratched and one scratch on mine stood out to me. Doubt others saw it but I did every time. Trouble is my car has to serve as my daily transport which also includes occasional trips to the recycling centre, holidays, golf course duty (clubs and trolley in and out of the boot), trips to the diy store, etc. I don’t have one on my NX and I’m really trying to be a bit less bothered about the odd scratch and scuff that inevitably happen during said use.

It may be worth inquiring if it is possible to fit a plastic protection strip instead (not sure if this is available for the NX). I have one fitted on my RX (came as part of the protection pack already fitted when I bought it):

I have one fitted on my NX as part of the protection pack and it certainly does reduce the risk of bumper paintwork damage.
