Hi all,

Has anyone experienced any issues with front centre Arm rest like peeling / cracking leather ? I am a member of a USA Lexus group on facebook mainly US members and been few posts where the Centre armrest is cracked / ripped and recent post, that's shocking for a car that was released in late 2013 onwards !! I myself haven't got this issue nor have I ever heard of any UK / Euro owners having this issue that's why I'm asking here so these pics aren't mine they are from US owners 3IS .... and I do condition the leather seats and armrests etc.....

Yep my 2014 has just started to do this.

In its defence it has done 175,000 miles and I guarantee that this has happened due to the oils from my skin affecting the material as that’s where I rest my arm and always have t-shirts or short sleeved shirts on.
It’s not leather it’s a vinyl material

mine has not long cracked, it was a hot day and i went and lent on it with my elbow!!, fortunately, i am a car interior trimmer, so will change it myself, but will use real leather, the difficulty will be matching the red thread though

Can you note the part number for LHD/RHD vehicles here, if you have it?
