Hey.
On one of the facebook pages something got mentioned about some guys fiddling with the Lexus Enform App, which is a subscription app that gives you certain cool stuff..... like telling you when your service is due. (lol!)
But, it also has a remote start button!!

This then lead onto one guy popping up with this document: (.pdf)

https://drivers.lexus.com/t3Portal/document/omnav-s/OMLADG0108D/pdf/L-ADG-0108-D.pdf?fbclid=IwAR21-C7O4BDBR5vFvSspWKkWPN7sMHU1botsJCOEU7xlstbxwH1gQdKf0WQ

which gives instructions, from the lexus manual, that its a feature available just from using your keyfob.

Ok so now fast forward, people (presumably US based) have been going to their LC, and this 3-button press on the keyfob works. amazing.
.... doesnt work on mine.

Can anyone else in the UK try it? I am due in the deal in a couple of weeks and want to see if it can be enabled.

''To start a vehicle remotely, press and release the LOCK button twice within two seconds, then press and hold the LOCK button for three seconds.''

The Lexus Enform app is a North America only option. Nothing in the EU/UK region.

@NemesisUK yes correct. we cant even download that app.

Hence, my question is around the key proceedure. as the guys there are all excited as they have just discovered that their LC comes with remote start from the factory. no app needed

A couple of paragraphs from that document suggests to me this is an add-on function, not a standard factory fitted option?

For example -

"This product is applicable only to vehicles with 12V DC, negative grounding specifications. Do not
use in vehicles with 24V specifications. Otherwise, damage to the unit or a fire may result."

and

"Do not use this product for applications other than in-vehicle use. An electric shock or injury may
result"

and

"Never attempt to disassemble or modify the product. An accident, fire, or electric shock may
result."

Also from the Lexus Enform Remote features pdf

"Your key FOB is able to remote start the Lexus after Enform Remote Services are active. To remote
start your vehicle with the key fob first make sure it is locked. Press the lock button three times and hold
down on the third time until lights flash.
Your Lexus will run for 10 minutes and then shutoff. You are able to remote start with the key fob or
Lexus Enform Remote app 2 times for a total of 20 minutes before you would need to drive the vehicle to
be able remote start again."

Reads remarkably similar to the first doc, except the mentioning of activating the Enform Remote Services first. This service is provided free for the first 3yrs of ownership, maybe those drivers trying it were unaware the app was already activated?

thats a good find! where did you find this please?

What i am hoping to do is to help the UK dealership locate whatever 'button' they need to activate it, as we dont have the app.
