I took my new LC500 in today for PPF coating and alloys to be ceramic coated, when I got home received a call from the Invisifilm the company carrying this out for me asking where the wheel locking nut was, I admit I didn’t check to see if it was there when collected the car & had assumed it was in the boot but they said whilst there was a polystyrene moulding no tools were in it.

I rang Lexus Leicester and they told me that no tools or jacks are supplied but a wheel locking nut could be found in the glove compartment which was eventually found by the detailer, however later I thought what about the I bolt for towing.

Anybody else realised this with their cars.

I will have a look in the boot tomorrow. My locking wheel key was also in the glove box in a specific plastic case with the original wheel nuts.

They stopped doing the toolkit on MY2019 and later according to my dealer, because no spare tyre and run flats makes it somewhat pointless. They can order you one if you really want one.

All I got were locking nuts in the glovebox and a tow bolt in the boot.

I have delved in the boot of my 68 plate LC and the following is fitted:

The car has run flat tyres.

In the recess across the boot under a carpeted panel is a screwdiver,jack,jack handle and wheelbrace.

Under  the righthand side carpeted panel is an eyebolt for towing.

Although the owner of an RC300h, I was surprised to find a full tool kit including a jack! Especially as there is no where to fit a spare wheel. I suppose it's to raise the car to remove a punctured wheel and get it repaired.
