Hey,

So after spending a lot of time researching and considering what I can get with my budget I have whittled it down to 2 options that I have found specific cars for. I'm finding it really hard making the call on which to go for but I am swayed towards the CT 200h purely based on the mileage. Both have full service history, no issues, clean and have had 1 owner:

CT 200h 15 plate Advanced 1.8l Hybrid cvt 72,000 miles

OR

IS 300 65 plate Executive 2.5l E-cvt 113,000 miles

Both are around £10,000

Any advice or tips for when I go to view these again. Am I right to feel swayed by the CT?

Thanks!

Test drive both?

As Piers says, test drive both and see if that helps to make up your mind.

My own personal opinion is that the CT is far too small and feels like a toy compared to my RX. They gave us a CT while our RX was being serviced and I thought it was awful, but then I suppose I was going from the largest car they make to the smallest so I would see a big difference wouldn't I?

I like the CT but just too small. I like estates.

Ended up with a 2015 Toyota Auris hybrid with 26,000 miles. More basic spec but much less miles. Bought from Toyota main dealer and so got a 12 month warranty. They replaced the AC condenser recently under warranty.

The engine/hybrid system is the same. I like the economy and currently £0 road tax.

James.
