Reversing sensor woes

My 4 year old granddaughter thought the reversing sensors on my 2013 RX450h were neat little buttons and has managed to push two of them hard enough to drop behind the bumper.😬

I have a tow bar fitted, so getting at them to re-fit is a pain. I have managed to get them back into the holes and push them in, but they have about 2 or 3mm still to go and no amount of pushing will shift them further. Does anyone know if there is a latch of some sort on the sensors that I'm missing? Also does anyone want to adopt a cute but mischievous grandchild?

I think they need to be installed from the outside of the bumper then the wires are connected after. There may be a barb on them that's meant to stop them moving back out, not in.
