afternoon everyone im in need of any help or assistance anyone can offer on this issue.

I have a lexus is220d 06 model done 130k miles and I've had no major issues to speak of in all the years I've had it. But after driving my son to school the car started cutting out and restarting instantly until it eventually cut out completely. After a couple of minutes and tapping the connectors on the Battery the car lit up and started fine. Since then though I have found more regular that as im going to start after its done its checks it just dies so I have found tapping the Battery is bringing it back to life strangely. I've replaced the Battery, electrical taped all the wires as small splits on the casing but nothing major yet the problem consists. Anyone know or come across this before.

Any help would be very much appreciated
