IS300H Sat Nav

I have recently acquired an IS300h Advance and I'm struggling to get to grips with the sat nav system. My first query is: is it possible to mute the voice guidance? And, if so, how?

Yes it is, from menu under settings there is the option to change the voice volume up or down

But why would you want to turn off that sultry voice? I let her talk to me even if I know where I'm going :-)

It's when she has the personality change when reading a road name, I think. Although I particularly like when she reports 'incidents' in that soft, inviting way but sadly, there never are any incidents.
