Hi all

I'm a couple of weeks into ownership of a 2016 RC300h F Sport and loving it.  Quite a step up from my 11 year old Mazda 3 that I've had from new.

Apologies if this is a question that has been asked a million times (still learning to navigate this forum): I've just booked the Yr4 service that was due.  Quoted cost £625 which, OK I was expecting it to be something in that order but I asked about costs for next few due to get a feel and was told next year is an interim @ £310, the following a £675 cost as it includes sparkplug (obviously diamond encrusted plugs) followed by another interim so my expectation is excluding this years service I'm looking at £1,295 for the next 3 services.  Why then do you suppose they have quoted £1746 for a service plan?  Must admit I thought there might be a cost saving for buying a plan not a £450 increase.  I'm confused!

Probably a typo because the figures are correct on the Lexus website so as you say, the next 3 should be £1,295.

I don't know whereabouts in Oxfordshire you're located but it may be worthwhile becoming a 'Gold Member' of the club. It's £39.95/year and participating dealers can offer decent discounts on things like this.

The only problem is that you can't see which dealers offer the discount until you pay for the Gold Membership, so if you tell us which dealer you're using, maybe someone can let you know. I'm a couple of hundred miles north so I can't help with that, but as you'll see below, my dealer gives these offers:

Although I'm in Oxfordshire my nearest Lexus dealership is Lexus Reading.  Anyone know if they participate?
