Cable from center consol laying on passenger side

Hi there all! My gf just saw this hanging out a day or two back and we have no ide what this is for and is asking u all if someone has any ide what this is for? Its in a IS250 -08

I'd guess at old iPhone/iPod installation too.

Took 2 more picture, its coming from under the glove compartment and i could find the end as its inside as shown in picture, never owned a Iphone so wouldnt know if its some sort off charger for it?

Yep, definitely iPhone/Pod or some other phone like a Fujitsu or Siemens.

I have the same thing in my gs and have connected an old Ipod touch to it for music. works from the steering wheel controls just like the cd/dvd player.
