Hi,

I am new to the forum looking to purchase a RX300 or 400H to tow a caravan with to replace my Kia Sportage so that I can tow a larger van. Is there anything that I need to look out for.

I have decided to avoid the SE-L air suspension models is there any other key concerns/issues or just the usual seek FSH and the 100K cambelt change.

Thanks,

Matthew

I had a 2008 400h SR for 5 years and towed a 1700kg caravan with no problems. 28 to 32 mpg not towing and 18 to 20 when towing.

We currently tow 1500kg with our rx400h fuel consumption with the van is 20-23mpg and without the van urban 31mpg extra urban 37-39mpg, the drive system just makes life so easy when towing.
