BUZZING

So my next question (as a recent Lexus owner) is this:  when the car is stationary, there is a constant buzzing noise coming from behind the glovebox; then, when the car moves off, the buzzing increases by about 7 tones (in musical terms) and stays constant; then, when the car slows down and stops again, the original buzzing resumes.  In other words it's not silent when stationary.  Except when it is (i.e. occasionally it's completely silent).  Although this is potentially quite musical, it does make me think that the buzzing shouldn't be there in the first place.  Any thoughts and ideas?

If you have a smart phone could you perhaps take a video and post it up so that we can hear the sound?

Does it make a difference if the AC is on or off? With no engine noise much of the time that's much more audible.
