Hi everyone, I am or I was happy user of IS250.

Unfortunately yesterday van driver decided to use my boot to stop.

After quick call to the insurer and describing all my IS250 will be written off.

This created situation where I am looking for bigger model of Lexus GS possibly up to 10 years old and up to 80k (MK3 after facelift) and here my questions.

1.  What to look out for when buying GS

2. what updates were between in models 2009-2011

3. from which year there was audio streaming in GS

any other tips I will be thankful

(sorry if already posted but whoever was involved in car accident will understand me)

Thank you

Check another thread about MK IV as most of the checks will be the same.

MK III got extra weak points:

- shock absorbers

- I've seen some info about leaking exhaust

- sized rear calippers

Audio streaming showed up after facelift in 2010 - the ones without deck player 🙂

  • Thanks 1
