Under side panels on my recently purchased gs450h 2007

Hello my name is Guy and I’ve just bought myself my first Lexus along with a few other people I see. The car is great so far but I was looking to do an oil change and noticed that all of the underside trays are missing! I have just bought what I think are the gearbox and middle tray but I think I might be missing the one that attaches to the bumper as what I thought was the front tray I think fits in the middle! Difficult to really see unless I jack the car right up and at the moment I haven’t been out to buy a good trolley jack! It’s on the very long lists! Am I right in thinking that the car needs a front tray? Any comments. Would be appreciated.

T`was built into the original spec in order to keep underside clean and protect from flying stones etc and to improve airflow around and under the vehicle and to reduce noise inside. So,replace in due course.

Hi John, I will thank you I’ve worked out how my 2 panels fit so all good. Just out of interest would you know what side the oil filter is on? I’ve just bought oil filter and Special tool to take it off but wasn’t sure what side the filter was on? Guy

As regards trolley jacks,  I read a report sometime ago which recommended to avoid alloy ones but i probably went over the top a bit in buying a 3T 'Compac' (made in Denmark rather than a Chinese offering).  Important of course to have adequately specified  stands too.
