Hi

I’ve recently acquired a Lexus UX after previously having owned three CT200h.

I bought an ex-demonstrator and don’t seem to have been given a Sat Nav User Manual. I also can’t seem to download one from the Lexus website.

The sat nav voice guidance stopped working today and I can’t seem to get it back. I’ve checked the voice volume which is set at 5 so that’s not the problem.

any ideas please how I can get it working again. It’s been fine up to now!

I had to find this on my NX at the weekend. If yours is the same, it's one of the icons on the left of the map when you have a route programmed in. It's the third icon down I think and it cycles through 2 or 3 different options.

Many thanks for your prompt reply although I think the UX has a slightly different system.

I’ll definitely check this out in the morning and report back.

Hi Spacenase

The options on the UX seem to be different than the NX.

However, the voice prompts seem to have returned. It must be a technical problem which I’ll query at the next service.

you were correct! It’s the fourth icon down. The trouble is that the icons are so small that I didn’t realise that I’d turned off the voice prompts.

That's the problem I had as well. It wasn't until I saw part of the icon changing that I realised what it was doing.

Funny, we had the same problem in reverse (couldn't work out how to turn it off) - it is, for reference, the same on all 2020 models as far as I can tell.
