Facelift sat nav retrofit

Hi all,

I bought myself a 2008 IS-F today - much better than expected! Pretty much the only thing I want to do is fit the later, black sat nav/stereo. Is it a straight swap?

Hi Owen and wow what a car you have now 👍. I think you have the grey/silver headunit? I think the only other headunit you can fit is off a 2011/12 car. After that its the 3rd gen. 

Have you considered taking yours out and wrapping it in any colour you fancy? Ive seen used gen 2 headunits on eBay but at silly prices.
