Do these act as reflector when  not illuminated?

Rear reflectors are required and checked during the MoT test

Much as I like these lights I do wonder about there legality. Unless they are "E" marked "that I doubt", and still reflect light when not lit in theory they should fail an MOT. I agree that most testers would probably not notice them, but the way insurance companies work they could refuse a claim on the grounds of non compliant lighting, and notifiable modifications.

They are not, i have them, no reflective red. Easy to bay some reflective sticker if needed.

Buying them is easy but fitting them probably removing the rear bumper, drilling holes into the boot area, trim removal and opening looms to make the electrical connections.If it then fails an MOT reverse the process.

I have these installed. The installation was not that hard, no drilling of holes or need to completely remove the rear bumper. But it wouldn't be that fun reversing it.
