Someone recently clipped my rear bumper. As a result, the side clips keep popping out as shown.

How can I access this area and does anyone know what sort of clips I need to re-attach it?

(I'm guessing they must have broken).

Any help much appreciated!

This is possibly the worst body panel to repair.I have changed a lot of bumpers,Through work not because I crash a lot, there are plastic clips bolted to the body which interlock into tabs on the bumper. The tabs on the bumper are fare weaker than the clips and when removing 8 times out of ten its the tabs on the bumper that get broken which equals new bumper as they are moulded when the bumper is made.If you can get hold of some plastic weld you may be able to repair the bumper or a really good quality plastic cement. I would check which its is before getting the bumper retainers.

I would get a free quote from a bodyshop - painful as it might be...

You may be lucky, there appears to be a £3.00 part holding that section in place.

The corner closest to the wheel arch has a 10mm screw/bolt that goes vertically upwards into the panel I recall.

It normally doesn't need a bolt in it to hold it in place, though.
