VSC light Lexus IS 250

Hey everyone I’m new to Lexus owners 

Bought first ever Lexus is250 and it has VSC light on 

checked with scanner no code comes up 

please suggest solution

Did you have ignition on when testing? If so very strange, was there any stored codes.I have always been able to read Vsc codes, even with a cheap scan tool.

Disconnect Battery ( Negative - connection ) for tens minutes to do a soft reset of the volitile memerory in the ECU's if there is a 'real' problem somewhere with the car then the "VSC" will pop back up but for a no cost first action just in case it's a spurious code then it's got to be worth a try!

I had a vsc light come up once after I didn't tighten the fuel cap enough. Went off as soon I took off the cap and retightened it till it clicked.
