Wind deflector question

Hi.

 

I fitted wind deflectors on my IS300h. Works great, but lexus thinks that the window is open  everytime I open door. 

Anyone now a fix? Thanks

Perhaps re-initialise the one-touch operation as detailed in the handbook?

Not sure how the deflectors are attached but possibly they are stopping the windows closing completely? Re-initialising may allow the system to accept the new top position?

Do the window deflectors fit into the window channels ? I know some cars have issues with these type of window deflectors some even come lose when you open the window or not fit into the channel properly, this is why I usually buy ones that you stick outside and not touch the window/glass

I opened and closed windows like 10 times and warning went away. Solved I guess. Thanks for help guys

each time the window closed it was probably pressing the deflector further into

the recess until it found the correct position
