Neither my 2017 Sport nor my 2018 Luxury have this feature. You get a warning if something goes wrong, but no actual pressures shown.

Legislation (2009) states that "Vehicles in categories (...) shall be equipped with an accurate Tyre Pressure Monitoring System capable of giving, when necessary, an in-car warning to the driver when a loss of pressure occurs in any tyre, which is in the interests of optimum fuel consumption and road safety".

The legislation does not extend to actually displaying what the pressure is.

This does seem to be penny pinching on behalf of Lexus though. If it required a lot of extra onboard equipment I could understand it but since the information on individual tyre pressures, and even temperatures are available at the OBD port the ability to display the pressures would not be costly. using the same screen that now displays "low tyre".

I don't think it's penny pinching but the very common practice of model differentiation. Many, if not all marques do this to some extent, just to make the more expensive, higher model variants stand out from their 'lesser' siblings.
