Something that solves an issue I've been bothered about with this intake design

 

A little expensive for a plastic tray but I couldn't be bothered to make my own.

I've considered this, but wasn't really willing to pay the monies for it.

Finally got round to fitment today.

After a short test run... Top of cover red hot, nice and cool underneath. Exhaust drone seems to have been reduced but need to test that on a longer run up a dual carriageway. Has had an effect though.

Just checking, so this covers the existing air intake to stop heat soak? is that correct? how much was it?

You have to trim away the ..... Trim..... On the left (as you look at it) so drivers side. Creates a cold air path from the fender.

Hmmmm. Think about 145 of the queen's pounds and £15 import duty.

You have to get one now [emoji23]
