Here's an account ( from the Horses mouth so to speak ) on why you should Only use Toyota WS ATF in your Auto boxes, even so some followers still appear hell bent on using their favourite flavour of Non OEM fluid 🤔

Make me smile when they complain about the price of the genuine Toyota fluid....they should paying our inflated UK prices for the stuff!

That's with any OE part vs NON OE.

I don't think it is wise to use non OE oil filter etc as well.

I don't mind using aftermarket parts like wipers, batteries, tyres, brake components and suchlike, but I would never go with any alternative fluids.

Always OEM for any fluids.

Just an observation the writer of the post uses a name that we all recognise for the wrong reasons. "LexusLgend".

I don't understand why people are hell bent on using non OEM fluids. The toyota WS ATF isn't that expensive. Stick to what is made for the transmission. I've always used Toyota WS ATF. Either use the Toyota WS or the Aisin WS. They are the same fluid. Our transmission is the A960E made by Aisin.
