What is this slot for?

Whilst cleaning my car, I noticed this slot at the top front edge of the glove box.

Does anyone know what it's for?

And before royoftherovers replies in his typical fashion... yes, I have checked the manual.

Always assumed it was for an id card or credit card etc...

lexus are a bit behind with there infotainment system, try pushing a 8 track in and see if it plays, i bet it does.lol
