Breakdown cover extension

Got a letter from Lexus today to say they are adding 3 months onto my breakdown cover for free as a response to the coronavirus pandemic. Pretty good of them and mine wasn’t even expiring this year. 
 

Not sure what the deal is with servicing at the moment. Car will be due it’s second service next month, perhaps things will be a bit clearer by then and the Lexus website says they are taking a sympathetic approach to warranty and service scheduling.

I've also had the letter saying that they've added three months cover and mine isn't due to expire until October 2021.

Me too, albeit by email, not a letter. 

My next service is due by the end of the month so not sure if there's leeway on when that can be done as I don't want my extended warranty to be run void.

Extended warranty is not extended itself BUT they (lexus warranty) are giving 2 month leeway on servicing dates.

Ah, that's interesting. I haven't heard that, til you posted that. Did you receive a letter/email to that effect?
