How can I update the sat nav on my 2009 rx450h se-l-cvt

There is no dvd for sat nav and according to what I’ve found out it appears it is updated via aux port in centre console. 
Anyone else done it ???

not on the hard disk based nav systems - dealer only upgrade.

I had my 2011 RX450h upgraded by the dealer, it is done via the USB port in the centre armrest cubby hole.

It was upgraded just after I bought it in Oct 2017 and cost £160 from RMB Teesside Lexus Dealer but I have heard on here some dealers charging a lot more.

It took around two and a half hours including a Hybrid System check (free) and wash.

It was upgraded from the original 2011 maps/ software to the 2017 one, not sure if there is a later upgrade they can do from there.
