Hello everyone my names Rob and I own a 1999 Lexus IS200. Needing some help to do the 1uzfe swap. My original 2 litre engines had it 🤣

Hello Rob and welcome to the LOC.

V8 conversions have been done before including super and turbocharging, do you already have an engine? The early models had thicker and stronger con rods but the later ones were VVTI.

You can basically buy everything to do it off the shelf but it’s cheaper if you can fabricate things like engine mounts.

Hi guys haven’t got the V8 yet. Which version is best/easier to run in an IS200? I seen a website selling adapter plates for gearbox and the clutch kit with fly. Is there any tuning company that could do the actual swap. There is Thor racing in Coventry but think they have shut down?
