Exhaust Droning - Help Please!

Do you have a link to the cat back system you bought?

I'm afraid not. It's not an off the shelf item. I'd imagine Tony utilises stock parts but you tell him what you want and he makes it.

When I got my GS there was already an SS system on but it did drone terribly and I put it down to the tiny back boxes. Took it to Tony Banks and he cut them off and fitted a much larger pair. Set off back down the motorway and it still droned, turned round and Tony replaced the rest of the system including a larger and much quieter centre box. It's lovely now. About as OEM as you can get I'd imagine.

Looks like you were lucky and got a true craftsman that listened to what you wanted and followed through instead of someone who ‘done what we normally do’

I can also vouch for Tony Banks ss system, i had mid and rear sections and it does not drone.

The TB system has just enough noise to tell you what the engine is doing. 

An OEM zoorst on my vehicle was too quiet and felt odd.

My old system was rotten, due to age, salted roads.
