Hi guys i'm back bought another car 3 months older and going to start again. I will not be defeated.

I installed a new firmware of this site and all went as it should have. Then switched vehicle off and restarted and no screen display even usb sockets not working. Any ideas anyone what i can do.

thanks all

Have you tried resetting the system by holding the volume button pressed down? for about 10 secs I believe. Needs to be done when the car is all powered up and you would normally expect the system to be on.

Thanks Martin but that didn’t seem to work

Sanj! What's the odds - I've not been on here for ages too. How is it going?

My screen was off after reset when I did a firmware upgrade but the MENU button brought it back on. USB sockets were ok though. In your case I suspect it will be one of the 7.5A ecu-acc fuses. The acc that does the lighter socket is definitely on the passenger side, roughly the middle underneath so you need to get upside down in the passenger footwell to have a look. You'll see a translucent cover you need to pop off.

You don't seem to be having the best of luck @sanjb! 😞

Give it a proper resetting by disconnecting the 12v Battery for 20 mins. You may well lose some of your settings but as a last resort, it may be worth a shot....

A good lesson then, never mess with firmware. Let the dealer do it, then they are responsible.

Was this at Lexus Hayes? I was chatting to Paris today and he mentioned that a Blue IS had problems with the Media system.. I'm the guy with the Grey IS F Sport that was going in for a service
