Driving the Mk1 LS does feel a tad slow, until you are up to motorway speeds and beyond, when the V8 presses home it's advantage. The acceleration between 70 and 130 is surprisingly good. Astonishing how it keeps plugging away right up to 155 without any real effort (on a disused airstrip of course).

oh dear, i would keep the lexus and spend a few quid on it. it sounds like you can not part with it. im sure :blink:

i have had my mark 3 for 2 weeks now and i find the power is best from about 80 to 140ish the speedo starts to move from there.

also, its a LEXUS nothing comes near. ask your neighbour. :winky:
