Hello I am new to the group and new tlo lexus ownership. I have bought a 2008 is 220d and was having issues with rgr valve so stripped and cleaned all the crap and now working perfect but have a leak on number 4 injector and came to tighten it but can't get the wiring.off the top to get to the nut.  Any advice would be much appreciated. Many thanks in advance.

Hi Ian and welcome to the LOC.

The electrical plugs always seen tight so brute force ma6 be needed and expect broken clips.

It is generally the injector seals which cause the problem you have.

Thank you for your welcome and also for the great help. This will be tomorrow's job then am going to try fitting an oil catch can to help reduce the blocking of the egr and dpf. Once again many thanks Steve.

Took the car to a friend who has his own diesel business and after a lot of cursing and slide hammer use the injector came out replaced the copper washer and car is great now.
