RX 450h Side Hybrid Badges

Hello all.

I haven't had my RX for long (January), but the 'hybrid' badges on the bottoms of the rear doors on my RX 450h look really tatty where the paint is coming off.  The local dealer has quoted £340 to replace these, which I presume means they would replace both of the trims and the badges together.  I can see that there are self-adhesive Hybrid badges on eBay for the CT200 which look pretty similar, but has anyone had any experience in replacing these themselves, or via a cheaper route?

Just a thought, perhaps you could save some money and remove them completely with some fishing line and tar remover or similar.
