Hello,

Does anyone know the knack required to change an outer, rear, tail light bulb?

I have removed the small panel inside the boot, also detached easily the black connected wire.

Videos and the manual say, twist counter-clockwise, the white bulb holder.

I cannot.

I've crawled in the boot, used a torch, tried when wearing a leather glove.

Will it budge?! No.

Any wisdom greatfully received...

Or a GENTLE tap around the bulb holder with a small hammer.

Twist it a tad clockwise and then immediately counter-clockwise

Thank you.

I tried but no luck.

It's as stiff as a stiff thing that's very stiff.

Only thing I can advise now then is a squirt of WD40, leave for a bit to let it soak in and then use pliers for extra torque when twisting anticlockwise.

Have you tried taking out the bulb on the other side?  If you can get that one out, you'll be able to examine it closely and it might help you to work out how to remove the stuck one.
