Bluetooth battery drain

Just purchased an Nx300h haveing had two other models. I'm using the same mobile. I paired my mobile, no problem. But its draining my android Battery, whether the car is being used or parked on my drive.

The lexus is the only Bluetooth paired device. The phone settings have not been altered from when I had the last lexus (other than pairing)

Your car won't be connected via Bluetooth unless the ignition is on, so I don't think it's the car causing your problem.

There's no way that your car would have Bluetooth active when the ignition is off.

Thats what I thought, ignition off, no Bluetooth. However I turn Bluetooth off on my phone, and there is no Battery drain.

The only Bluetooth connections were the two associated with the car

Un-pair the Bluetooth association with the car and keep Bluetooth switched enabled on the phone and see if the Battery drain continues. If it does your problem is with the phone...

Well I switched blue tooth off on the phone, then turned it back on, after a reboot. I then rechecked the pairing on the Lexus, and since then all is ok with no serious drain

It might be that the phone got stuck in a cycle of constantly trying to find one of your Lexus connections. A similar thing happens when the phone can't get a signal from the provider's network.

That would appear to be the case, anyway its all ok now
