1999 ls400 wont idle

Hi guys,

Wonder if someone can give me some advice. So I start the car, but everytime I let go of the accelerator, it just dies, to get it to hold idle, the accelerator needs to pushed, what could be causing this?

I would check for any fault codes first, prime suspect is throttle body.

MAF maybe? You could try unplugging the MAF and see if it makes any difference. Or it could be a vacuum leak somewhere, there are a a few vacuum pipes connected to the throttle body on my 1996 LS400.
