2007 brake calipers

Hi I have a 2007 gs450h. 

I would prefer to put the standard 17 inch wheels from the lexus gs300 on it rather than the 18 inch wheels from the GS450 to improve ride quality. I was wondering if the brake set up is the same and that the 17s will clear the brakes on the GS450.

I do know that the 2010 final facelift of the S3 GS saw the 450h in SE spec fitted with 17" wheels as standard with 18" optional so I would think that you should be able to put 17" on your car. The tyre size for the 17" is 225/50.
