Change old dvd with an sd card reader for gps maps

Hi , i am a new and happy owner of Lexus gs450h 2008 and also new here and i just want to ask if it s possible  to change the old dvd ( the one for maps ) with a sd card reader for gps maps

Hi Florin.
In practical terms the answer to your question is no i'm afraid. I am not saying it cannot be done, but it would be far easier to use an android device with an interface system onto the original screen. Even if you could make the Lexus memory card system work there would be little or no advantage in changing over.
