This may equally apply to the RCF and GSF - When I am looking at a ISF I like to check the MOT history on line and I am amazed at the % I look at that have failed or had listed as an advisory with excessive tyre wear. Are the cars sensitive to tyre brand, set up, pressures etc or is it just down to owners negligence ?

Front tyres (ISF only) can wear unevenly on inner edge due to a poor lower bush design.
Mine were down to canvas, when the rest of the tread was only half worn. Fixed the issue with a pair of aftermarket bushes (USRS).

Not sure of anything other than that. If it's a good brand of rubber, one would assume the owner has taken care of them too.

My rears MPS4'S' have lasted over 25k miles and are at about 3mm.

Fronts have been on same amount and are at 5mm.

I have the USRS that @Toothy mentions.  I also get my wheel alignment done by a specialist in Southampton every year.

I also run at 40psi all round.  The tyres are currently Nitrogen filled but may as well put snake oil in them for the difference I have noticed 😉

Do you not find running 40psi too high?

Not in particular.

I haven't run them at 36 since the USRS were fitted a while ago so may drop them and see if it makes a difference at all.

I'm just under 40 all around last time I checked. I will alter it slightly if I see outer or inner wear, but at 40 it seems to be wearing nice and even. I have same tyres, mine are about shot on the rear after about 18K. Not bad. Front are fine.

I should add I am running the wider setup so 275/30/19 at rear as well so not sure if they makes a difference to wear.

I'm running a wider setup too. I was running 40psi ok stock but it was too wayward when driving so reduced to 36psi cold. Been fine

I did order 2 sets (1 for a mate) so not sure if it would be cheaper with just the 1.

its still 55 dollars to ship (Fedex international priority) for one set, but they are on discount at a moment, so kinda took care of the shipping cost.  Now just a matter of finding someone who is willing to fit them for me.
