Hi everyone new member here, just wondering

If anyone has had a bad experience with lexus not delivering there car on the date promised , purchased my fourth lexus early December but delivery date of the 28th dec then 7th of Jan both passed without even a phone call can't wait for 21st jan for rc300h f sport takumi to arrive !!

Hi Derek, we had a bad time getting our IS300h in 2017, we wanted it to arrive before the VED rate went up after 1st April.  Unfortunately so did a lot of other people as we went twice to Lexus Wolverhampton to await a transporter that did not arrive from Bristol.  So our 1st March delivery was looking bad, the reason was that there were too many car transporter bodies but not enough tractor units.  In the end Lexus Wolverhampton sent a low loader to Bristol and brought it back themselves.

What did the VED rate go up from, to what, James ?

i think the ved banding took a £10 / yr road tax to £130 / yr

Yes Roy, the VED would've gone from £10 (which we had to pay all at once) to £130, and if we had had leather seats the price of the FSport would have taken the price to over £40,00 which would have made it even more.  The last thing we want is to give the government any of our money!
