Curiosity may have killed the cat but;

As the title suggests, what age's did you aquire your F V8's? If you don't feel right about stating your age, a range would suffice.

I think I may be the youngest ISF owner on LOC/In the UK at 26.

Mods, let me know if this violates any rules. I'll delete.

29 when I bought mine. Had it for 3 years now.
21 when I first drove one. Felt like a supercar back then, jumping from my Nova or Fiesta or whatever I could afford at the time 😂.

I was 24 when I bought my Supra back in the 90’s 😆😉

Took me a while to come back to the fold, so I was 48 when I bought the ISF a few years back.

Back when I was 24, driving around in 1.3 Escort Mk3, if I had anything like a hot hatch back then, I would be in the wooden box a long time ago.

I remember getting my first Cavalier srI, and getting it up to 130mph  (just), and nearly smashing into the back of tractors coming round country bends too quick.  Made me realise that even at 30 years old I was too mad for a sportier car and went with Mr Sensible motors until I tried my first LS

Not been in any of the sporty Lexus range, too used to the LS luxury (and sometimes push the barge up to 120 - when wife not with me).

Purchased a Clio 16v when I was 19, switched to Lexus two years later as it became tiresome of bits breaking everytime I put my foot down! Decided I wanted realiability and purchased an IS200 at 21. Have since owned all 3 generations of IS over a 15 year period and finally switched to an RCF in 2018 at the ripe old age of 37.

Just realised I'm now into my 18th consecutive year as a Lexus owner.

I was 23 when I purchased mine last year. It ticked all the right boxes 👍

I stand corrected! I'm not the youngest 🤣😂

How did you find insurance?

Always been a fan of the Supra, what version did you have?

Could you imagine the 2JZ in the ISF 😉

Admiral @ just over 1k, protected no claims included and legal cover. Can't remember the excess but it wasn't bad. I don't drink or smoke, the car's my guilty pleasure. 😈

Not bad, I paid £1.2k for third party cover on my old Clio 16v when I was 19.

47 now, had mine 5yrs, always wanted one from launch in 2008, kids and an expensive wife at that time stopped me from having one! 😂.....having had 75 cars in my time my most expensive to insure was my M3 when I was mid 20’s and the wife 23......Lexus is the only car I’ve had 4 of, IS200, IS300 aero-tec, IS250-sel and the F.......after my divorce I also treated myself to a Kawasaki Z1000-sx.......my money is finally my money 😂😂......even the current Mrs H leaves to my own devices 😉

Not had my ISF long (imported it) but I am 40.

ISF was always on my want list, but its a long list and it took me some time to work my way to one 🙂

Make you right there👍🏻 Roads are too busy, pot holed with clueless drivers nowadays, too risky for a fast bike imho. Done the track days and got fed up with that, hence fast cars 😁

Purchased my ISF in June 2018 at 65 years old. Had many cars including a few V8's, and wanted one last one before I and they become dinosaurs. This was of course the best one. Part exchanged it after 13 months in July last year (at 66) for an RC300h, and I now waft about. Total cost of the F with depreciation, fuel, tax, insurance and a service, worked out at about 80p per mile. Goodvalue I think

36 when I picked up mine.

I've had fast cars since my early twenties. Looking back on the amount of money I have wasted I would probably advise my younger self against it if I could, and tell him to get on the property ladder earlier. Not that he would listen!

Got the GSF at 26, plan on keeping it long term/ for it's life time, originally wanted an ISF but by the time I could afford an F car, the GSF was out and it was personally the perfect car 😄
