How can the auto headlight setting be adjusted?
The dipped headlights are set too high and it causes problems for on-coming traffic.

All advice appreciated

Are both headlights too high or just one?

It is possible to do a manual adjustment (I've done it as a temp adjustment) but if everything is set correctly and working correctly then there should be no need as the lights auto level.

This thread on the US site explains it after the first few posts. https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sc430-2nd-gen-2001-2010/808843-auto-leveling-headlights.html

Thank you for directing me to this info, both lights work I n tandem but seem too high.

I will digest the information over the coming weeks and try to correct the problem once the weather has improved.
Cheers

I have this problems also, the warning light is on, and I keep getting flashed as people think my main beam is on.  On looking under the car, it transpires the rod connecting the potentiometer to the rear suspension has snapped, so I'm on the look out for a replacement.  Might this be the problem with yours?

Have you tried a Lexus main dealer for the part?
