IS 250 Boot wont open ??

Hi guys,

            opened the boot this morning via the button , got to where I was going and nothing ??!! 

Opened it with the key .

Tried the switch on the dash..nothing .. and still nothing at the boot .

                                  Any Ideas ??

Broken wires in the loom where it goes from the car body to the boot lid?

There is a button in your glovebox that disables the boot opening by button. Make sure it's not on...

In case you didn’t know that is the ‘Valet’ function for the boot. If/when you use valet parking then you are supposed to ‘lock’ bootlid via that switch in glovebox then lock glovebox lid with key blade out of key fob, you then keep key blade with you when valet service parks car using fob ( now without key blade) and they will not have access to the boot!
