Tyre and Alloy Insurance

Hi has anybody taken out and used the dealer offered insurance for tyres and alloys. What was your experience like, was it worth it. Seems expensive to me.

Never, don't think many would have. 

I really don't see the point, wheels will most likely be kerbed even from the sensible drivers and tyres will wear out or punctured and needs to be changed.

i think the answer was probably a waste of money ......  too conditional maybe

you're probably not allowed to use your car or summat !

i got wheel insurance when i bought my lexus is300h from Ipswich lexus it was £150 for 3 years. you get 6 wheel repair a year if you kerb your wheels. you just ring the insurance and arrange a time. i have had 3 wheels done which would have cost me £60 a wheel if not.
