Hi lads,

great site and love my new used Lexus😊

rear car door won’t open from inside child lock on or off doesn’t matter. Door open from outside and locks with remote or keyless entry.

 

any ideas what the problem could be ? 😳

oh just bought her got rid of my 2012 e class absolutely delighted with the Lexus. Only 115000mls black with cream interior mint.

also has the radar cruise control 🤓

Don't know. If it was just one side I would say something mechanical but two doors 🤔. Must be electrical.

took the door trim off and was just as I thought cable popped out of place. And was like brand new back there.

I was going to suggest the linkage has come off but you have now sorted it.

How about a fuse. Sounds silly but could be.

i pulled off the door trim and it was just the cable disconnected all good now and clean as a whistle back there too.😉
