DAB Antenna Replacement

I have had problems with DAB reception recently and have discovered that the copper strips from the antenna box on the front windscreen have severed.

I assume that this can be replaced, but does it have to be with a Lexus part or will a generic antenna work?

 

Does  anyone have  part number and/or price before I call Lexus and raise my blood pressure.  Any hints as to removal and replacement will also be appreciated.

I'd be very surprised if it had to be Lexus only - any DAB aerial should do.

Hi Chris, did you manage to get your antenna sorted, I have the same issue with mine and so far struggling to get a replacement.

I have to find a way to stick back mine after changing the windscreen, pain in the... to install it like that but hey ho at least we have DAB 🤣

DAB reception in my Lexus is rubbish when compared to my misses Yaris. I put it down to the aerial also, I'll keep an eye on this thread to see if a solution comes up.

What year is this on?

I have DAB radio on my 2017 and it does not have this box at all on it, is this an after market one?

Is that code on the sticker it is attached by the part number?

I also seem to have this issue. I have the same box and antenna on the passenger side windscreen section. DAB radio reception is garbage. Would like to replace this unit and the copper wire as it looks ropey. Anyone know where they can be bought and/or what the part number is? Thanks
